What Does This Actually Mean?

Thursday after work I was taking Bella the dog for a walk.

Friday is trash collection day so as I wandered the bustling Metropolis that is Joondalup I spotted this little gem in bold writing on a yellow wheelie bin.

PLEASE SLOW DOWN

CONSIDER OUR KIDS

This had me a little confused what was this sign requesting?

We were only walking at a steady pace and with Bella weighing in at Four kilograms we were hardly going to bowl over any children!

I pondered was this more sinister motive in play here?

Could these bin owners be bad actors infiltrating our community and just maybe they are part of an unchecked international pedophile ring using innovative advertising to avoid the online cops?

Or maybe they were looking out options to adopt out their children after some poor behavior by their children?

All in all a little strange as there are very few kids in our hood.

Am I overthinking this?

Around the corner we go and here’s this bloke overweight to put it kindly attempting to jog.

I am guessing he had awoken that morning, looked into his obviously underused mirror and was aghast that he was now in possession of his very own fat suit!

His gait was something between a walk and extremely slow jog.

Bella greeted him as did I

No response

Probably fully focused on trying to remember how to jog.

It is amazing how many people just completely avoid any contact or response when greeted.

Next thing about to cross road at give way sign and nearly get cleaned up .

For people outside Western Australia over here we apparently have different interpretations of road signs etc.

For example

.Give Way Sign. means rip through as fast as you possibly can.

Stop Sign. means only stop if doing driver training or you spot the police.

Vehicle Indicator’s. Again only use to indicate what you have already done or don’t bother at all.

Merging on the freeway means if someone is adjacent to you and wants to get into your lane quickly speed up so they may be able to safely find a slot behind you.(The Bride Strongly disagrees with this and chides me when I pull this maneuver)
