Finally here we are at the magnificent Milan Central Railway Station how good is good!
Having flown into Italy from Australia via Bangkok and Muscat, the tour has hit Milano.
The train from the airport into Milan was very interesting as a group of young teenage students boarded. There was twenty or so in their group. They were both noisy and excited but in a sleepy way that only mid-range teenagers can pull off.
Occasionally one of the cool teachers- you know the type- Mrs K or Mr V would move amongst them apparently trying to calm the farm but to no avail.
For the next thirty two minutes or so, six of said students hovered right next to our seats. We were on sensory overload. Obviously they had not attended Mrs Buswell's
pre-teen personal hygiene course!
As we were walking a lot and on site seeing over-drive, I was desperately in need of new footwear. Milan being one of the big three European cities for gentlemen's' fashion, I was ideally placed, I thought. So many choices! Galleria Vittorio Emanuele beckoned. Everything in designer shoes right in front of me. I had my heart set on some very chic Gucci loafers. However, I had to yield to the bride's unparalleled experience in fashion shopping. I now own a pair of very cheap PRIMARK joggers

Very stylish. Made for walking.
Forget the loafers mate. Old man slip-on Sketchers are the way to go. Just look at mine 😞🤣
